I am an architect and journalist. I work in the design field as strategic communication expert since the ’80.
Author of many design books. I’m currently the director of the editorial series “Lezioni di Design”, Metilene Edizioni.
Curator of international exhibitions to promote the Italian Design for public Institutions including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Since 2023 I‘m the curator of lectures, exhibitions and books format “Lezioni di Design” for Selfhabitat Cultura at MAD Murate Art District in Florence.
I’ve been appojnted from 2021 as Design Ambassador for the Italian Design Days in Hannover, Santiago de Chile, Athens.
Co-creator with Valentina Downey of Lab.Brain Design , a creative hub that develops innovation laboratories and design strategies for international companies and organizations.
Consultant of UNIDO – United Nations Industrial Development Organization. Since 2010 I develop social design projects in Asia, Africa, Italia for International Ong and Foundations.
Associate Expert CSIL, Center for Industrial Studies.
Co-founder of DComeDesign Association with the aim to promote women’s creativity.
I’ve been professor at the Faculty of Architecture La Sapienza University, Rome; University of Genoa; Estonian Academy of Arts, Tallinn; Turin Politechnic; Raffles Fashion & Design Institute Milan.
As journalist, I’ve been part of the editorial staff of the magazine Domus from 1979 to 1986 with Alessandro Mendini who was my menthor. Since then I’ve published my writings in many important Italian and international magazines.
